My name is James Martin, the owner of Mayfield Gardens. As a youngster I spent the majority of my time playing in our garden at home and in the fields of my family farm. My father would tow me behind our ride on lawn mower, whilst I was sat on my pedal tractor grinning from ear to ear. I was desperate for the day that I was old enough to reach the pedals and drive the mower myself. Once that day came, there was no stopping me and my parents could take a back seat, as I took care of the lawn. As I got older and grew taller, I was able to use all the other toys my father had stored in the shed, strimmers, hedgecutters etc.
At weekends I worked at a local holiday park maintaining the grounds and was often found there keeping it tidy for the holidaymakers. My career then entered the Commercial world, working within Management for an International Bank, Event Management for a Global Sports Car Manufacturer and latterly within Business Development for a worldwide Marine Services Provider.
Mayfield Gardens has since developed from my passion for the outdoors, maintaining and developing an outside space for the enjoyment of all that may use it. The name Mayfield Gardens, has come from the 19th century thatched cottage that I live in with my partner and our two dogs. We have an acre of ground, that in time I plan to create a beautiful and tranquil place for us to enjoy.

Whether it be a general tidy, more severe clearance, regular lawn mowing or hedge trimming Mayfield Gardens is able to provide maintenance, renovation or transformation to your garden on a one off, or regular basis. The aim is to provide you with an enjoyable place spend your time, without the hassle of carrying out the work yourself.
